5 Places to Visit When in Seattle

Welcome to the largest city in The Pacific Northwest my friends!

Even though The Emerald City is known for its rain and gloomy skies, during the summer you can enjoy the plethora of lovely moments filled with sunshine and various pleasant activities.

Here are some suggestions on how to fill your days when in Seattle:

Space Needle

This amazing observation deck offers you a chance to observe the city from above, and to bask in the view of majestic mountains nearby, all the skyscrapers around, and the glistening bodies of water. Since early 60s people have been visiting this amazing tourist spot, to see Seattle from above (observation deck itself is 520 feet high). Don’t miss an opportunity to visit the tallest structure west of the Mississippi River (520 ft), and if you feel so inclined, you can have a delicious meal in rotating restaurant which lays right under the observation deck, 500ft above the ground!

Chihuly Garden and Glass

Right next to Space Needle you can find another awe-inspiring place that shouldn’t be missed. You can even get a combination ticket for these two places! Revel in Dale Chihuly’s most amazing works, rain or shine, day or night, since this place offers an amazing viewing experience no matter the weather or time of the day. Make sure to observe glass blowing sessions, if you want to know how a simple piece of glass becomes a magnificent piece of art. The movies in theater room are also, very interesting!

The Museum of Flight

If you like plains and want to know more about their history, but also see the newest improvements in aviation world; The Museum of Flight is the right place for you. The entire history of flight at the palm of your hand! From the Wright brothers all the way to the exploration of Mars, and all the flying adventures people had in between, it’s all noted and celebrated in this establishment. Here you can delight in a simulation of a Mustang barrel-roll, moon landing or flight over Pungent Sound. Even if you don’t consider yourself an airplane enthusiast, we are certain you will enjoy the time spent here!

Living Computers: Museum + Labs

Learn more about the history of computer and progress it has made over the years. You have a chance to take a trip down the memory lane, from the very first PC (Altair 8080) all the way to super innovative machines of today. This is not your run of the mill museum, since most of the exhibition is interactive, and you can sit down and actually use these “old-timers”. Good people at Living Computers: Museum + Labs works tirelessly on the restoration of all the vintage machines, so they can be displayed and admired by all the visitors! But again, here you can find an array of modern computing achievements such as AI, VR, robotics and self-driving cars, which you can explore.

Enjoy Seattle and everything this sometimes-rainy city has to offer (indoors or outdoors). Remember that Seattle Limo Service stands at your disposal, to make your stay and your sightseeing a lavish experience worth remembering!
